We fell in love with Elise McLauchlan's handcrafted creations. Each piece is unique and exudes a soulful presence. Hand carved maple salt and pepper shaker. Each is a unique shape to create a sculptural aesthetic for your salt or pepper. Made from Maple with a cork stopper. Variations in wood grain is natural and part of the charm. 

About the artist: Elise began her design career as a window display designer for UK brand Mulberry.  After 5 years of travelling the world and making props that consisted of giant ice cream cones, pastel coloured gnomes, and inflatable animals, she decided to retire the glue gun and follow her passion of furniture. 

Elise went back to University to study furniture design and making in London where she spent most of her time glued to the lathe. She now has a small studio in Montreal, Canada where she makes far too many bowls and other semi useful items.
