About the artist: Elise began her design career as a window display designer for UK brand Mulberry.聽聽After 5 years of travelling the world and making props that consisted of giant ice cream cones, pastel coloured gnomes, and inflatable animals, she decided to retire the glue gun and follow her passion of furniture.聽
Elise went back to University to study furniture design and making in London where she spent most of her time glued to the lathe. She now has a small studio in Montreal, Canada where she makes far too many bowls and other semi useful items.聽
